I was born in Zrenjanin, but I hardly remember anything about my life there as I was only 5 when we moved to Novi Sad.
My parents wanted me to study law, but I choose English instead, so I studied it for a few years in Karlovačka gimnazija and the Faculty of Philosophy.
I was fortunate enough to spend a year in London (priceless experience) where I gained my first international teaching certificate and fell in love with that city (eternally).
Having spent some time teaching in two private language schools, I decided to change my career and got a job in a bank (another priceless experience, although completely different).
I strongly believe we should never stop learning, especially when we want to improve the quality of our lives. When a kind of change became almost inevitable, I started studying and preparing for the CPE exam and again was fortunate enough to be Karlo’s student.
He suggested that I should take a CELTA course, which I did in London and soon after I had completed it I got the opportunity to become a full member of the Excalibur team.
I am more than grateful for “another life” I am living now, still learning how to teach both from my colleagues and students, enjoying the process…
Oh, I almost forgot. Apart from English, I can speak (more) Italian (than)/and French and I am also capable of producing a few phrases in Swahili and Hebrew.
